Cadence

 

Cadence refers to rhythmic flow or sequence of movements. It has a nice connection to cycles, repetition and return- subtly echoing the philosophy of reincarnation. It's elegant, resonant and hints at the rhythm of life, death and rebirth allowing room for interpretation and emotional response. There is a fine balance between my thoughts and my work and I like how they correlate each other. Cadence is the direction I wish to move further in my journey and looking forward to seeing what changes it brings in my practice. 

 

Its an ongoing series that explores the silent rhythms embedded in gradients of color and light. In these works, I am distilling emotional resonance into calibrated tonal transitions, evoking a visual language akin to music-measured, fluid and immersive. Each work functions as a temporal space where hues unfold like breath or pulse inviting contemplation and stillness. Drawing from both meditative practices and phenomenological perception, Cadence seeks to slow down the act of looking. The vertical divisions in some works offer a subtle architectural structure, while the chromatic fields reference shifting skies , atmospheric light, or inner landscapes. These works do not impose meaning- they suggest presence.

Cadence resonates as both a reflection and a distillation – where silence becomes color and color becomes a cycle in the reincarnation rhythm.
